The new interface brings a noticeable improvement to the overall Webminal experience. The updated design feels cleaner, more modern, and much more polished compared to the previous version.
One change I noticed is related to process visibility. Previously, using tools like htop made it easy to identify which users were running specific processes. With the new privacy-focused approach, that information is now more restricted. We can still monitor our own processes, and the Webminal — Live Commands feature continues to display live command activity, but usernames associated with those sessions are no longer visible. While this may take some adjustment, it is understandable from a privacy and security perspective.
The UI enhancements are also excellent. The terminal interface looks significantly better, and features such as resizable panels and pop-out mode greatly improve usability and multitasking. These additions make the platform feel more flexible and professional.
Overall, the redesign is a strong step forward. The balance between modern aesthetics, usability improvements, and increased privacy makes the platform feel far more refined and user-friendly. Excellent work by the development team.
